Over the course of the Applied Digital Learning program, my understanding of teaching, learning, and leadership has changed in meaningful ways. I entered the program focused mainly on how digital tools could improve instruction, but I am leaving with a much broader understanding of how learning environments, learner choice, reflection, innovation, and leadership all work together. Through experiences with COVA, CSLE, blended learning, ePortfolios, and my innovation project, I have learned that meaningful digital learning is not about using more technology. It is about creating intentional opportunities for learners to take ownership, make choices, develop their voice, and connect learning to authentic experiences. This synthesis reflects how those ideas have shaped my growth as an educator and leader and how I plan to carry them forward into my future practice.
