Innovation Plan: In-Class Blended Learning with Digital Portfolios

For my innovation plan, I’m implementing an in-class blended learning model that allows my 7th-grade Texas History students to rotate through digital, collaborative, and teacher-led learning stations. Each student will also create a digital portfolio for every unit, showcasing their understanding, reflections, and growth.

This approach is designed to increase engagement, improve organization, and help students take ownership of their learning. By combining technology with hands-on activities, students can interact with history in more meaningful ways while developing digital literacy and a growth mindset.
